Pina Bausch: Álomtánc

Decemberben indított sorozatunkban minden hónapra egy-egy Trafós stábtag szemezget a közelgő programokból, olyanokat amiket látott és ajánl, vagy olyanokat amiket nem látott, de megnéz(ne). A stafétát most a nemrégiben meginterjúvolt marketinges, Turóczy Zsuzsa veszi át.

Összeírtam néhány programot május első két hetére, amiket szívesen ajánlok másoknak is:

Bodó Viktor rendezéseit érdemes figyelni, én a Motelt többször is láttam rajongó egyetemistaként, aztán sorban a többit. Itt most az új darabja!!

Pina Bausch megkerülhetetlen a kortárs tánc kedvelői számára. Bár ez egy középiskolásokkal készített dokumentumfilm, akik az ő koreográfiáját állítják színpadra, maga Bausch is feltűnik a filmben. Ez volt az utolsó filmes szereplése, 2010-ben.

Meghallgatom az utolsó GIFT / szakrális koncertet ebben az évadban, ami ezúttal egy pakisztáni együttest mutat be nekünk. Lendületes, ám elmélyülésre alkalmas zene. Ja és idejövök már 19:45-re, hogy megnézzem előtte a Pakisztán zenéje c. dokumentumfilmet.

Elolvasom kedves ismerősöm, Maros András novelláskötetét, ami a Könyvfesztiválra jelent meg. Ideális villamosozásra, vonat- és buszutakra, de a fotelben is kitűnő élményt nyújt a kellemesen kézreálló, szép borítóval ellátott könyv (Réczey Zoltán munkája).

És ha már Magvető, elmegyek és meghallgatom Fenyő D. György magyartanár és György Péter esztéta beszélgetését Szegő Jánossal, a Magvető Kiadó szerkesztőjével - Ottlik Gézáról.

Ottlik-emlékezés és a Hajnali háztetők ünnepi újrakiadásának bemutatója

A szép nyárias időben jól esik a kiállításlátogatást egy kis friss levegőn tett sétával összekötni. Ennél mi sem egyszerűbb, ha a Bajor Gizi Színészmúzeumba látogatunk, ahol most Domonkos Sándor 1960-70-es évekbeli címlapfotóiból látható kiállítás június 24-ig (az OSZMI szervezésében).

Kelemen Barnabás és Kokas Katalin munkásságát régóta figyelemmel kísérem, de most először fogom hallani a kb. két éve alapított Kelemen Vonósnégyest, amiben mindketten játszanak (és rangos külföldi díjakat zsebeltek már be). Bartókot, Beethovent és Haydnt fognak játszani.

Szeretem Hód Adrienn koreográfiáit, mert frissek, ötletesek és a humort sem nélkülözik. A Basse Danse-t a szakma is szerette, így Lábán Rudolf-díjjal jutalmazta idén. Jó tipp lehet mindenkinek, aki kíváncsi a hazai kortárs táncra.

"Celebrate the never-ending choreography of life

Through time, through the ages, what endures is mostly art. Art seems to be everything humankind leaves to its heirs – whether through buildings or books or paintings or music. Or movement, or dance. In that sense, I think of dance as the most current, the most up-to-date history lesson, as it is in a constant relationship with its most recent past and can only happen in the present.
Dance also, somehow, does not acknowledge borders in the same way as many other arts. Even when certain styles try to limit themselves or work within a frame; the movement of life, its choreography and its need for flux: these take over very quickly, allowing certain styles to mingle with other. Everything engages with everything, naturally, and dance settles only in the space it belongs to — that of the ever-changing present.
I believe that dance may be one of the most honest forms of expression for us to cherish: because when people dance, whether in a ballet performance, a hip-hop battle, an underground contemporary show or just in a discotheque, cutting loose, there are seldom any lies deployed, any masks worn. People reflect each other constantly, but when they dance, perhaps what they reflect most is that moment of honesty.
By moving like other people, by moving with other people and by watching them move, we can best feel their emotions, think their thoughts and connect to their energy. It is, perhaps, then that we can get to know and understand them clearly.
I like to think of a dance performance as a celebration of co-existence, a way to give and make space and time for each other. We tend to forget this, but the underlying beauty in a performance is that it is primarily the convergence of a mass of people, seated one next to the other, all sharing the same moment. There is nothing private about it; a performance is an extremely social experience. All of us assembled for this ritual, which is our bond with the performance, our bond with the same present.
And so, in 2012, I wish everyone lots of dance. Not to forget all their problems of 2011, but on the contrary, to tackle them creatively, to dance around them, to find a way to engage with each other and the world, to engage with life as part of its never-ending choreography. Dance to find honesty and to transmit, to reflect and to celebrate it."

Újabb interaktív, gyermekeknek szóló előadás lesz a Trafóban az olasz Compagnia TPO-tól, Európa egyik legeredetibb gyerekszínházi társulatától: a gyerekek ezúttal egy csodálatos botanikus kertben bolyongva fedezhetik fel a gubók átalakulását. Francesco Gandi művészeti vezetőt kérdeztük:

All of us spent about 9 months in our mum's belly. I would have remained for 10, if it had been up to me ......
