Trafó Gallery is presenting a group exhibition of the photography-based works of Swedish Thobias Fäldt and Klara Källström – who are active as a duo as well – along with the worksof Hungarian Miklós Surányi. We asked Klara and Thobias.

1., Give me three words that immediately come to people’s minds when they think about you or your creations/projects!
KK – TF: Sur/realism, blackness, lightness

2., What aspirations in your life and your career do you still want to fulfill?
KK – TF: Continue. Don’t know what we can expect from the future and that’s how we want it to be.

3., What would you do if you weren't an artist?
KK: Architect.
TF: Carpenter.

4., What are you proud of in your artistic carrier or your life?
KK-TF: That we still have things going on and feel curious about continuing.

5., Who do you look up to, who is your role model and why? 
KK-TF: People who say something about their time and who invites other to be part of their idea. Could be an artist or any person, it’s not of importance who say it, what matters is what they say.  

6., What are you scared of? 
KK: Self censorship
TF: Selfishness.

7., What is your earliest memory?
KK: From when my family was moving around when I was very young.
TF: A sofa with gigantic flower pattern.

8., What was the last great and memorable piece/film/exhibition you saw?
KK+TF: The film Play by Ruben Östlund. 

9., If you take up somebody up to your place what would you show him or her? 
KK+TF: We would probably show the books that we’ve made. They are everywhere in the apartment. 

10., Could you tell me a story that means a lot to you about your current production exhibited in Trafó?
For the first time we exhibit what is released by KK+TF at B-B-B-Books.

11. What are your top 3 favourite music albums?
